1.0 SUMMARY
RDMAIL is a program which allows a user to read the messages which
have been sent to him. It always reads the messages from the file
MAIL.TXT.
RDMAIL version 4(10) runs on release 4 of TOPS-20.
RDMAIL does not depend on any other software while executing.
RDMAIL is documented in the DECSYSTEM-20 User's Guide.
2.0 EXTERNAL CHANGES
RDMAIL now uses the comnd JSYS.

None as of 30-Jan-79.
4.0 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 Files Needed to RUN RDMAIL
RDMAIL consists of one file, RDMAIL.EXE.
4.2 Instructions for Loading and Installing RDMAIL
Mount the tape labeled Distribution Tape on MTA0: and type the
following commands:
R DUMPER
TAPE MTA0:
REWIND
DENSITY 1600-BPI
SKIP 2
RESTORE <*>RDMAIL.EXE (TO) SYS:*.*.-1

6.0 SUGGESTIONS
The following suggestions are being considered for a future version of
RDMAIL:
1. Allow RDMAIL to delete unwanted messages from the MAIL.TXT
file.
2. Allow RDMAIL to read messages from an arbitrary file.
