ERROR RECOVERY PROCEEDURES DURING PROM BLASTING

ERROR 1)

The blaster is not set up to blast "2716" prom chips.

	Power off the blaster.

Remove the top cover of the blaster.

Find a pair of modules; 909-1174-1 and INT2704/08.
If they are not already in the blaster, find them somewhere else.

Insert module "INT 2704/08" into slot 5 (from the front of the blaster)

Insert module "909-1174-1" into slot 6 (from the front of the blaster)

Find module "950-0019" already in the blaster. There is a toggle switch
on the top of this module, visible without removing the module. The
2 positions of the switch are: "INVERT" and "NORMAL". Put the switch
	  in the "invert" position.

Remove module "909-1174-1" (You may have just put this in the blaster).
In the lower right hand corner of the module is a blue jumper. Put
the jumper into the "2048" position. Put the module back into the
	  blaster.

Find the "socket adapter" "715-1362". Insert it in the front of the
	  blaster.

	Put the cover back on.

	Power on.

Go to STEP 3) of the main proceedure.
ERROR RECOVERY DURING PROM BLASTING

ERROR 2)
If the "WORD COUNT" in the upper right hand corner of the blaster is
not "0000", then the paper tape has a crease in it, or the holes
are blocked by old punch outs, or something. Examine the tape under
the reader head to see whats wrong with it.

If the "STOP" light was not on, push the "RESET" button.

The "STOP" light will now be on.

Push the "PROGRAM/VERIFY" button. The "VERIFY" light will now come on.

Push "START". The tape will be read again.

If the tape stops moving, and the "STOP" light is not on, something
is wrong with the tape, or the blaster itself. If the "STOP" light
comes on, everything is ok. Push the "PROGRAM/VERIFY" button. The
program light should come on. Now go to STEP 21 of the main
	  proceedure.

ERROR 3)
