SUBTTL	Revision History

COMMENT \

Edit	Comment

0001	Initial version of MOUNT
0002	Include new P$HELP facility
0003	Initial bug fixes and remove /AFF and /SEP

0004	Decouple /NOTIFY and /NOWAIT

0005	Separate MOUNT parsing code so it may be used with
BATALC for preallocation parsing of control files.

0006	Fix MOUNT/CHECK and ALLOCATE/CHECK

0007	Clear JACCT and Show all users by default
Add MODIFY command not yet implemented message

0010	Add support for M7: and M9: compatability.

0011	Do not default WRITE-LOCKED for tapes

0012	Add support for generic mount requests.

0013	Add support for new DEALLOCATE/DISMOUNT switches /NOTIFY/NOWAIT/WAIT

0014	Fix generic mounts from turning into magtape mounts unless generic MTA.

0015	Remove feeble attempt to parse /VID or /REMARK switches that quotes
strings with single quotes. The old UMOUNT CUSP used to handle this
but we can't do it right. In addition, the break mask for an unquoted
string has been changed to allow only 0-9, -, A-Z and a-z. This is
consistant (except for the dash) with SCAN's string parsing logic.

0016	DO not send a .SMALI block for TOPS10 (TOPS20 only)

0017	Allow /UNLOAD switch on DISMOUNT or DEALLOCATE command for consistancy
	with the old UMOUNT syntax.

0020	Instead of bitching when the user types MOUNT or ALLOCATE with no
arguments, give a listing instead. This is consistant with the other
	QUEUE class commands.

0021	Change unlabeled label type to USER-EOT and remove BLP

0022	Add UNLABELED and make it synonomous with NOLABELS.
Put BLP label type back in and make it synonomous with
	BYPASS.

0023	Don't clear JACCT on startup. It shouldn't be set.

0024	Use job number for PID.

0025	Complain if the user supplies a logical name on structure requests.

0026	Make MOUNT easily link with GLXLIB. Now all code can be in the high
	segment!!

0027	Flush the IPCF queue during initialization.
	Make /NOWAIT imply /NOTIFY
Add /NONOTIFY for bozo's who really do not want /NOTIFY on /NOWAIT

0030	Do not insert '[' or ']' on the acks from MDA

0031	Do not allow physical/generic volume set names in the ALLOCATE cmd.

0032	Tell user there is no operator coverage

0033	Improve error messages instead of ?FOO may not be mounted

0034	Make CSSE happy and impliment /VID:xxx on DISMOUNT/DEALLOCATE

0035	Look for separate help files for each command that invokes MOUNT.
Don't use P$HELP since requires lots of stack space that never gets
used. Remove /DRIVES and /STRUCTURE-ID switches since they were
never implemented. Decrease the stack size from 200 to 70.

0036	Make DISMOUNT/DEALLOCATE /NOTIFY work
Also fix .MOUNT/WAIT so it does not send a garbage message

0037	Make it so that generic device mounts are illegal in $STEP batch headers

0040	Don't let OPRPAR rescan the command line. There are lots of major
	OPRPAR/GLXSCN/GLXKBD problems.

0041	Fix edit 37 so we are no so restrictive with generic mounts

0042	Allow DISMOUNT xxx/UNLOAD

0043	QUEUE. UUO block made MOUNT have a non-null low segment

0044	P$WLDF requires a user to explicity type * for wildcarding job
	names. That's a lose cuz you can't type CAN PRI /SEQ:54. Don't
	do that.

0045	Check to see if user logical name already exists. If so, issue a
warning, and clear the old definition.

0046	Don't use a PFH. It will slow things down.

0047	Lost edit 43 somewhere. Put it back

0050	DISMOUNT/VID:xxx does not tell the OPR enough about the user.
Add code to dump out the volume set name and unit if we can
	determine it.

0051	Remove /SEQUENCE. GCO 1295

0052	Don't do logical name checking if batch prescan. GCO 1388

0053	Add code to MNTPAR in MOUN25 and MOUN30 to support the
ENABLE/DISABLE queue functionality for disks and tapes.
	NO SPR 21-SEP-83/CTK

0054	Remove edit 53 because it broke logical names.
	NO SPR 20-FEB-84/CTK

0055	Add code to use a semi-unique ACK code for mount requests send
	to QUASAR.
	Requires QUASAR edit #1173
	SPR 10-34182 4-Feb-84 /LWS

0056	Make MOUNT /CHECK and MOUNT <CR><LF> work the way they should.
	29-Feb-84 /LWS

0057	Redo code on TTYRSC to handle line continuation.
	SPR 10-34857 GCO 10091 13-Sep-84 /LWS

** Version 2 edits start here **

0100	Add support for SHOW QUEUE EVENTS.
	GCO 10129 11-Dec-84 /LWS
