ACTSYM.DOC -- Universal file for the Accounting System

1.0  SUMMARY

ACTSYM is a universal file containing definitions of symbols and  data
structures  for  use by programs interfacing to the Accounting System.
Currently, the  following  programs  or  sub-systems  use  ACTSYM.UNV.
LOGIN,  ACTDAE,  REACT V33, GALAXY release 5.1, USGSUB (subroutines to
interface BACKUP to the Accounting System).



2.0  EXTERNAL CHANGES

This is a development release of ACTSYM.  Changes have  been  made  in
support  of  the  accounting project for 7.03.  This version is upward
compatible with the previos version.



3.0  KNOWN BUGS AND DEFICIENCIES

None



4.0  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Compile ACTSYM.MAC and place ACTSYM.UNV on ersatz device UNV:.



5.0  INTERNAL CHANGES

Symbols that describe the new  accounting  project  user  profile  and
accounting file disk format have been added.



6.0  SUGGESTIONS

None.
